Connemara Seafoods have been harvesting from these waters for generations and these whole shell mussels are the product that showcases exactly why provenance matters.
Cooked and frozen at their freshest, they go straight from your freezer into a hot pan in minutes. Classic moules marinière with white wine, cream and shallots, a rich smoked bacon and cider broth, or simply steamed open with garlic butter and crusty bread — Connemara mussels make every version better.
At 1kg per pack this is a generous portion — enough for a proper main course for two or a stunning shared starter for four.

- Preparation: Cooked whole shell mussels, frozen at peak freshness
- Allergens: Molluscs (mussels). Produced in a facility handling other fish and shellfish.
- Storage: Keep frozen. Cook from frozen or defrost overnight in the fridge and consume within 24 hours. Do not refreeze once thawed.
- Cooking: Heat a wide pan over high heat with white wine, garlic and shallots. Add the mussels, cover and cook for 4–5 minutes until heated through and all shells have opened. Discard any shells that remain closed after cooking. Finish with cream and parsley and serve immediately with crusty bread.
