Plump, tender and ready to go straight from the freezer into the pot — cooked Chilean mussel meat is one of the great kitchen shortcuts. All the flavour of fresh mussels with none of the cleaning, debearding or sorting. Just defrost and add to whatever you're making.
Chilean mussels are renowned for their size and consistent quality — grown in the cold, clean waters of the South Pacific they're meatier and more robust than their European counterparts. At 500g per pack there's enough here for a generous pasta, a rich mussel chowder or a classic moules marinière without the faff.

- Preparation: Fully cooked, shell removed, ready to use
- Allergens: Molluscs (mussels). Produced in a facility handling other fish and shellfish.
- Storage: Keep frozen. Once defrosted refrigerate and consume within 24 hours. Do not refreeze once thawed.
- Cooking: Defrost overnight in the fridge or under cold running water. As the mussels are already cooked they only need to be heated through — add to a sauce, broth or chowder for the last 2–3 minutes of cooking. Overcooking will toughen them. Excellent in a white wine and cream sauce, a spicy tomato broth or folded through linguine with garlic and parsley.
