There is something deeply satisfying about a bowl of whole clams. The drama of the shells, the sweet briny meat inside, the sauce that builds around them — whole shell clams bring a sense of occasion to the table that their shelled counterparts simply can't replicate.
Cooked and frozen at their freshest, these whole shell clams are ready to go straight from the freezer into a hot pan. Classic moules marinière style with white wine, garlic, shallots and cream, a spicy tomato and chorizo broth, or simply steamed open with butter and parsley — the shells do half the work for you.
At a minimum 500g per pack there's enough here for a generous starter for two or a light main for one. The kind of dish that looks far more impressive than the effort involved.

- Preparation: Cooked in shell, frozen at sea, ready to heat and serve
- Allergens: Molluscs (clams). Produced in a facility handling other fish and shellfish.
- Storage: Keep frozen. Cook from frozen or defrost overnight in the fridge and consume within 24 hours. Do not refreeze once thawed.
- Cooking: Heat a wide pan over high heat with a splash of white wine, garlic and butter. Add the clams, cover and cook for 3–4 minutes until heated through and any closed shells have opened. Discard any shells that remain closed after cooking. Serve immediately with crusty bread to mop up the sauce.
