Clam meat is one of those ingredients that quietly elevates everything it goes into. Sweet, briny and with a depth of flavour that comes straight from the sea — a good clam chowder, a classic spaghetti alle vongole or a simple seafood broth is transformed by the real thing rather than a tin.

Cooked and shelled so all the hard work is done. At a minimum 500g per pack there's enough here for a generous pasta for four or a proper New England style chowder that'll have people asking for the recipe. The kind of freezer staple that serious home cooks wonder how they managed without.

  • Weight: Minimum 500g per pack
  • Origin: Yellow clam meat, frozen at sea
  • Preparation: Fully cooked, shell removed, ready to use
  • Allergens: Molluscs (clams). Produced in a facility handling other fish and shellfish.
  • Storage: Keep frozen. Once defrosted refrigerate and consume within 24 hours. Do not refreeze once thawed.
  • Cooking: Defrost overnight in the fridge or under cold running water. As the clams are already cooked they only need to be heated through — add to your sauce or broth in the final 2 minutes of cooking to avoid toughening. Classic in spaghetti alle vongole with white wine, garlic, chilli and parsley. Equally excellent in a cream and potato chowder or a rich seafood linguine.

SHIPPING INFO

We deliver on our own refrigerated vans across Northern Ireland. Orders placed before 6pm will be dispatched the following morning for delivery the same day. We'll send you a confirmation once your order is on its way.
Frozen products are packed with ice to maintain temperature during delivery. We recommend placing in your freezer immediately upon receipt.
