Plaice is a fish that doesn't get nearly enough credit. Delicate, sweet and with a flavour so clean and fresh it needs almost nothing done to it — a little butter, a squeeze of lemon and two minutes in a hot pan is genuinely all it takes. It's the fish that reminds you why fresh always wins.
Ours comes in daily, filleted skin-on and boned by hand in our Belfast facility. At a minimum 200g per portion the fillets are generous and flat — perfect for the pan, the grill or simply dusted in seasoned flour and shallow fried until golden. Elegant enough for a dinner party, easy enough for a Tuesday night.

- Preparation: Skin-on, boneless fillet, hand prepared
- Allergens: Fish (plaice). Produced in a facility handling other fish and shellfish.
- Storage: Keep refrigerated 0–4°C. Consume within 2 days of delivery or freeze on day of receipt.
- Cooking: Dust lightly in seasoned flour and shallow fry in foaming butter for 2 minutes each side until golden. Finish with a squeeze of lemon and a handful of capers. Also excellent grilled or steamed with light Asian flavours — ginger, soy and sesame work beautifully.

Due to the perishable nature of fresh fish we are unable to accept returns. If you're unhappy with your order for any reason please contact us within 24 hours of delivery and we'll make it right.
