Bold, golden and unmistakably smoky — smoked cod is one of those ingredients that punches well above its weight in the kitchen. A staple of the traditional fish counter done properly, it brings a depth of flavour to everything it touches whether that's a classic kedgeree, a creamy fish pie or simply poached in milk with a soft poached egg on top.
Ours comes in fresh daily, skinless and boneless so it's ready to go straight into the pot. The kind of ingredient that earns its place in a regular weekly shop.

PRODUCT INFO
- Weight: Minimum 150g per portion
- Origin: North Atlantic cod, traditionally dyed and smoked
- Preparation: Skinless, boneless fillet, portion-cut by hand
- Allergens: Fish (cod). Produced in a facility handling other fish and shellfish.
- Storage: Keep refrigerated 0–4°C. Consume within 3 days of delivery or freeze on day of receipt.
- Cooking: Poach gently in milk for 8–10 minutes until just cooked through — the milk softens the smoke and makes a beautiful base for a sauce. Also excellent baked, added to a fish pie filling or flaked through kedgeree with boiled eggs and basmati rice.

Due to the perishable nature of fresh fish we are unable to accept returns. If you're unhappy with your order for any reason please contact us within 24 hours of delivery and we'll make it right.
